OCR: ive. New Order's next single, "The Perfect Kiss," was developed while the band was on the road. On its live debut, it was entitled "I've Got A Cock Like The M1," and it was quite different from its released form. "The Perfect Kiss" broke tradition by appearing on an album, "Low Life." The new LP, "Low Life," was another excellent and eclectic album. "Sunrise" demonstrated that the band could still write excellent guitar songs, while the instrumental "Elegia" showed an introspective side of the band. The second single lifted from "Low Life" was "Subculture," which did not sell well. The next two non- album singles did not perform well in the club scene, either. "Shell Shock" was used on the soundtrack for the movie Pretty in Pink. This single was followed by "State Of The Nation."
